  1. This was a very powerful message. From listening to this story of a mother, her two identical twins and there father over coming a big obstacle of a birth defect, in one of her babies. After hearing her story, it has inspired me to if I ever have the option or opportunity to donate my organs or tissue I would without a doubt would want to look into it. A couple years ago Ashlynn and Jacob's grandfather died very unexpectedly, and his body was donated for research. I applaud there family for making this tough decision, and I know if they would get a letter from the researcher they would be very happy, it would probably give them a since of closure.

  2. This was moving, a mother losing her child, it must have been terrible to her to face this and deal with this sad news. The fact that she could give him to research, she must have been strong and powerful to face this adversity, and she had the strength to go through with this, and it still shows hope that there could be an unlocking for this defect.

  4. This was very sad yet truly inspiring. It would be so sad to lose a child but it was inspiring how she decided to donate his body to research. It was also cool how they got to visit the facilities her son was donated to.

  6. This was very sad but it was a very cool thing to do. It must have been sad to lose a child I can't even imagine. The fact that she donated his body for research was really inspiring. I thought it was interesting that they got to visit where he was being looked at for research.
