Not only are these robots very cool (and yes, I would love to have one around), they prove a very important point. The genius of the designer came from his highly diverse background. If he had chosen to specialize in one area instead of learn about many different fields, these robots would not exist. Think about this next time you ask a teacher "Why do I have to learn this?"
The fact that this robot is smart enough to respond and show actual thought is kind of astonishing. it shows that we are able to take and learn from what we do, and you right if he wouldn't have taken up more than one field he wouldn't have been able to do it. so good for him for his ambition.
