  1. This video was very touching actually. I love how she is so dedicated to get job in making students achieve their best. How she is willing to go the extra mile to make sure kids are in the best shape to learn and become educated. She is so committed to her job and she loves what she does. Her mother and father bother were educators and she wants to leave the legacy that her mother did. I can see why this would be touching to you too, Mr. Sharp, because you are an educator and you love teaching students, and that "Ah Hah" moment when we all learn something new from you.

  2. I think if 100% of teachers were like her learning would be a lot more fun. I think that most teachers at Hampton are, so that is a plus for students at Hampton, but for students at schools with some of those boring not so great teachers I feel bad for them. I totally agree with her that relationships are some of the most important aspects, I think they whether it be a relationship with a significant other, or relationship with a colleague, customer or student, etc. Everything works better when people can connect with each other and help each other. Also, I like her idea of "plus two" compared to "minus 18". I think that could really help boost student's moods when they feel they have done bad, or know that they did bad on a test. I think Mr. Sharp that as long as students are willing to make relationships and connections with you, you are doing a terrific job as a teacher and role model for students. I would strive be to like you if I ever became a teacher. Although, Pre Calculus is still a little iffy for me.. you are a heck of teacher.

  3. You all are too nice. I'm thankful I have such great kids at our school. It makes it so much easier to connect with you and have a great time at school. Thanks for all you do around school.

  4. Wow, I really thought of two people when I watched this, (cough cough) Mr. Sharp, I know you can be an amazing actor just like she said, and Mrs. Weiss, from sixth grade, I count you both among the teachers I have learned the most from, and what this woman said, is remarkable, it rang within me and showed that the best teachers that have taught me, are the teachers I have connected with the best, this talk was amazing, and it will stick with me.
